The Powder-Trans Group has invested in ten new bulk trailers for international transport. The new units from the German manufacturer Feldbinder are designed for versatile use and adapted to future needs and solutions in trailer transport.
Ten new bulk trailers featuring the latest technology and optimized for versatile use were delivered at the beginning of the year from the German manufacturer Feldbinder to the Powder-Trans Group.
The Powder-Trans Group’s growing operations, especially in Central Europe, require increased capacity. The new trailers will operate in the Nordic countries and Central Europe, where transport volumes – particularly in northern Central Europe – have increased significantly over the past year, says Group CEO Fredrik Blomqvist.
The ten new units were delivered at the beginning of the year and were equipped and registered in Finland to begin operations in continental Europe. The new acquisitions are designed for versatile use. They will primarily be used in standard operations as semi-trailers behind a tractor unit, but are also optimized for intermodal transport by both rail and road. The trailers can also be used as full trailers with an attached dolly.
The design of the new trailers incorporates the latest modern technology, and the units are weight-optimized to maximize payload capacity. All new trailers are also equipped with telematics for tracking and monitoring.
