The Powder-Trans Group’s commitment to quality has received further documented recognition, with excellent results in the recently completed SQAS assessment, a new group-wide GMP+ certification, and Fair Transport certification for the company’s operations in Sweden.
In its latest SQAS assessment, Powder-Trans achieved an outstanding score of 87%, a result reached by only nine per cent of all assessed companies in Europe. The result demonstrates the company’s high standards in safety, quality and responsible operations.
“It also further strengthens Powder-Trans’s position as a reliable logistics partner for the chemical industry. The assessment helps the company identify areas for improvement, reduce risks, and further enhance the efficiency and reliability of its operations,” says Juha Hietakari, Quality Manager at Powder-Trans.
New Certificate for Feed Transportation
Powder-Trans has also successfully obtained a new certification for its operations. GMP+ is an international feed safety system designed to ensure that feed products are transported, stored and handled safely and in a traceable manner in accordance with regulatory requirements.
For a transport company, the certification provides assurance that all transports are carried out according to controlled processes designed to safeguard quality and safety throughout the entire supply chain.
Fair Transport certification in Sweden
The Powder-Trans Group’s Swedish operation, Powder-Trans Sweden, has received Fair Transport certification for its transport services. Fair Transport is a sustainability certification for the transport industry, demonstrating that Powder-Trans actively works to promote road safety, environmental responsibility, fair working conditions and responsible business practices.
The certification is based on monitoring and verification, providing customers and partners with additional assurance.
